The Bio

Hey, I’m Ryan. I’m the CMO and a cofounder of Nugget, an online furniture company that’s also kind of a toy company. Since 2015 we’ve shipped more than 500,000 kids couches and have been named the fastest-growing manufacturing company in the U.S. two years in a row (2020, 2021). My previous project, Thrill City, was a streetwear brand based in Chapel Hill, NC that combined pop cultural references with North Carolina sports nostalgia. 

I am an infrequent music critic, and an even less consistent visual artist.

I am also deeply curious about the question of how we should live our lives, how we can create a more just society for all, and how we can bring ethics into our day-to-day lives. In my current life, that means the ethics of business. In my next life? I have no idea.
